On Saturday, April 11, 2026, RockyPop Grenoble will host the third edition of the Combat des Chefs, a festive culinary event that has become a must-attend for lovers of creative cuisine, local products, and unique experiences in Grenoble.
For this year’s edition, the event organized by Assas Hotels promises an evening that’s as delicious as it is fun, right in the heart of the Alpine capital. 🏔️
What is "The Battle of the Chefs"?
Sponsored by Michelin-starred chef Laurent Azoulay and by the Meilleur Ouvrier de France Bernard Mure-Ravaud, this event aims to be generous, committed, and participatory.
Two teams made up of talented chefs from the Assas Hotels group are going head-to-head in a unique culinary challenge!
Their mission? 🧑🏻🍳
Each participant is to create a three-course surprise menu —featuring a starter, main course, and dessert—based on a single requirement: showcasing local ingredients while incorporating a mystery ingredient, which must be featured in both the food and the drinks.
🍷 The menus will be paired with wine, as well as with non-alcoholic beverages.

This cooking competition isn't just something to watch—it's an experience to be fully immersed in, and you are the stars of the show.
👉 When you reserve your table, you’ll have the privilege of sampling both menus created by our culinary teams. This immersive experience will not only allow you to discover two distinct creative worlds, but also to help choose the grand winner. 🥇

You’ll become a member of the judging panel and are invited to vote for your favorite team. 🍴
Your choice will help determine which team wins at the knife-cutting ceremony, the highlight of this evening dedicated to good food, sharing, and camaraderie.

- 🧑🍳 Starting at 1:00 p.m., meet the teams and the event’s sponsors, then witness the reveal ofthe mystery ingredient, which will kick off the teams’ menu creation process.
- 🎷 Throughout the afternoon, RockyPop Grenoble will come alive with the sounds of a live music concert.
- 😋 The partners of this charity event will also be there to introduce you to their expertise and products through various tastings.
- 🍴 Starting at 6 p.m., take your seats, sample the menus, and vote for your favorite team

- 🕒 The entertainment begins at 1:00 p.m. Guests will be welcomed at 6:00 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m.
- 🍽️ The regular menu will not be available on April 11.
- 🍕 Pizza will be available as a takeout or room service option.
- 🌿 No vegetarian or vegan options will be available at this event.
- 🥚 The menus may contain the following allergens: gluten, eggs, milk, fish, sulfites, celery, tree nuts, and mustard.
